This year’s Women\u2019s Leadership Forum will take place in Dar es Salaam on 6 October 2025, under the theme \u201cThe contribution of women to leadership in Africa\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forum is organised as part of UONGOZI Institute’s Women\u2019s Leadership Programme (WLP)<\/a>, dedicated to helping African women advance into leadership roles. It draws upon from the Institute\u2019s research study, which examines the transformative contributions, challenges, and lived experiences of women leaders across Tanzania\u2019s public, private, and civil society sectors. The study provides compelling evidence to advocate for increased female representation in decision-making spaces, addressing the persistent gender gap and advancing recognition of their qualitative attributes in promoting holistic gender justice in leadership spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants of the forum will include leaders in government, business, academia, and civil society from across the world, as well as 100 women leaders selected to join cohorts 7 and 8 of the WLP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in the event will be by invitation only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
