The book on the Late Edward Moringe Sokoine, Former Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, titled “Edward Moringe Sokoine: Maisha na Uongozi Wake”, was launched on 30 September 2024 by H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania.
The book, prepared by UONGOZI Institute in collaboration with Sokoine University of Agriculture, covers his life journey from the Maasai community to serving various leadership roles including as Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania. It expands the historical record of Tanzania and the wider continent.
