The 9th UONGOZI Institute Graduation Ceremony will be held on 15 May, 2026 at the Mlimani City Conference Hall, Dar es Salaam.
The event is organised to celebrate the accomplishments of those who have completed the Institute’s long-term executive programmes: Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership (PGD), Certificate in Leadership (CiL), Women’s Leadership Programme (WLP), and Emerging Leaders Programme (ELP). It will be attended by leaders from across the continent – and from a range of professions in government, business, academia and civil society. Over 200 leaders will graduate.
The four programmes aim to develop competencies in personal leadership, people leadership and organisational leadership. They are dedicated for leaders, from all sectors, who want to propel their professional development without putting their careers on hold. The faculty consists of experts in the field of leadership development from across the world.
PGD, CiL, WLP, and ELP are designed and delivered in collaboration with Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development (Finland), HAUS Finnish Institute of Public Management (Finland), and Yale School of Management (USA). They are implemented with support from the governments of Tanzania and Finland, as well as the European Union.
