Applications for the 2025/2026 intake of our Women’s Leadership Programme (WLP) are now closed. We have received over 2,000 applications, representing 35 countries (see the word cloud below).

A total of 100 canddidates will be selected and notified during the last week of August 2025. They will form the seventh and eighth cohorts of the programme. The programme will begin on 29 September 2025. 

The WLP was launched in June 2022 to enable more women to lead, own, shape and contribute to the development processes in the region. The target group is African women in mid- and senior-level positions across all sectors. The aim is to help them develop leadership competencies in personal leadership, people leadership and organisational leadership. It provides them with unparalleled learning opportunities, including the Women’s Leadership Forum, training, coaching and mentoring, as well as networking opportunities.
